Together We Can Provide Better Life to All African Children

Laying the groundwork for future African leader through our support and investment in education

AOEE, known as Amicale On Est Ensemble, is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that was formally founded in August 2018 by a group of dedicated founding members. The organization operates under the legal status of section 501(c)(3), which grants it tax-exempt status in the United States. This status allows AOEE to receive tax-deductible donations and participate in a wide range of charitable activities.

The Amicale’s mission is : The foundational strength of AOEE resides in its remarkably diverse and dynamic membership. Our members hail from the Beninese diaspora, representing an array of professional and educational backgrounds that enrich our collective experience. They are scattered across various regions of the globe, including Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Egypt, France, the United States, and Benin. This widespread presence positions AOEE as a unifying hub, bridging Beninese individuals from across the world's diverse corners.

Fostering Unity and Solidarity : Our foremost goal is to build and strengthen bonds of friendship and solidarity among our members and their families. We work to create a sense of unity and shared purpose that unites us as a community.

Sharing Experiences for Collective Growth : We recognize the intrinsic value of the experiences of each member. These experiences are vital resources that we leverage for the betterment of our organization and, by extension, the nation of Benin.

Empowering Communities through Collaboration : We actively engage in collaborative projects, supporting initiatives that have a positive impact on the communities we serve, both in Benin and the United States. By working together, we aim to drive meaningful change and development.

Supporting Underprivileged and Marginalized Communities : One of our core commitments is to provide material and financial assistance to underprivileged or marginalized communities in Benin. Through our socio-community endeavors, we contribute to their growth and success, striving for a more equitable society.

Advocating for Positive Change : As an influence group, we utilize our collective voice to advocate for policies and changes that benefit not only our members but also the broader community. We're dedicated to making a meaningful difference through active lobbying and advocacy efforts.

Solidarity, fraternity, loyalty, fidelity to the word given, consensus, and the spirit of sharing are pillars of relations between members.

The Executive Board consists of Five (05) members, elected by the General Assembly from among the members of the Amicale. Positions available are as follows:

AOEE is governed by a democratic and inclusive structure. The organization is led by a dedicated board of directors, all of whom are elected by the active and passionate members. The board members serve for a two-year term, ensuring that leadership roles are periodically refreshed, bringing new ideas, energy, and perspectives to the organization. This democratic approach empowers our members to have a say in the direction and activities of the organization, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment.
